How one mom went from exhausted to empowered—and found rest in the process
When Jessica Blafer became a mom, it was after a long and emotional journey—two rounds of IVF, five rounds of IUI, and surgery that all ended without pregnancy. Instead of giving up, she and her husband chose to foster. And it was through that path that they found their son—and later, his biological sister, whom they adopted. Today, Jessica is a mother of two vibrant young children, ages 3 and 5.
She’s also 47, a wellness coach, and a woman navigating the very real and very exhausting symptoms of perimenopause.
“I didn’t even realize how poorly I was sleeping…”
Like so many women, Jessica didn’t immediately connect the dots between her sleep struggles and menopause. “I became a new mom at 42 and 44, so I just assumed it was parenting exhaustion,” she says. But the symptoms piled up—night sweats, anxiety, joint pain, irregular cycles, and relentless fatigue.
“I was getting up every couple of hours throughout the night,” Jessica recalls. “I was exhausted—but didn’t even realize just how badly I needed quality sleep until I got it.”
That moment came when she discovered EZ Nite Sleep’s Menopause Sleep Support Gummies.
Her Sleep Solution: Holistic, Hormone-Smart, and Effective
With a background in functional and holistic health, Jessica knew exactly what to look for in a sleep product: natural hormone-supportive ingredients like Black Cohosh, Wild Yam, and Flaxseed. “I love that EZ Nite Sleep is clean, vegan, and made in small batches. The gummies and oral spray work perfectly together, depending on what I need each night.”
The difference? Night and day.
“I finally woke up feeling like myself again—rested, refreshed, and ready to be a better version of myself for my family.”
On Motherhood and Menopause: A Powerful Parallel
As Jessica sees it, menopause isn’t the end of something—it’s the beginning of something new.
“I call it our 2.0 life. Our bodies might be breaking down in some ways, but that’s what makes room for a breakthrough. We’ve spent our lives caring for everyone else—it’s time to care for ourselves.”
That means sleep. It means rest. And it means educating the people around you.
“Talk about it with your family. Make space for what you need. BREATHE.”
